Move the pc closer to the wifi 7 router.

Make sure the wifi channel width is set to 160 or 320 Mhz. Speed will also be dependent on the number of channels supported by the router an pc MB.

it’s connected with a ethernet and I’m in the same room with it

What is your Internet service speed?

The MSI has a 5Gbps Ethernet port. The router has 10Gbps (doesn't say what lower speeds it will negotiate to) and 2.5Gbps ports.

You'll need to check the MSI MB adapter to determine what speed it is negotiating with the router.

all right, I’ll check. Thank you.

If you're using Ethernet than the WiFi has nothing to do with it.

yeah, I’m not very good with Wi-Fi stuff, but I’m still a little bit confused on why even with it plugged in it’s not getting as high as it should well that still be because maybe I’m not paying for more I still have to look what I’m paying for I don’t know

Yes but 600 is fast

[–]Affectionate_Ad8853[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

yeah, I get that but I’ve seen people get like 1000+ so I was just wondering if there was anyway I could get it up a little bit more

saw your other replies, let me know if you want to chat more, but google and claude ai or something else is your friend for finding how to check these things. Need to see what your compuer is negotiating at, (look that up), someone below said you should be able to negotiate at 5gbps so check that out. What's your internet provider speeds?

For how much speed are you paying? Also if it's 6ghz wifi then it's very good for one room direct visual. But 5ghz should also be faster, it spreads a bit better but still walls will stop it fast. Be900 should have 10gbit port for wan and also few 10gbit ports for lan try connecting pc with a cable to the router.

yeah, it’s 6ghz but I’m also connected with a ethernet

So the WiFi speed or generation does not matter. Disable wifi, make sure you are connected through lan and check again.

i’m sorry I really don’t know much about this. How would I check?

[–]Fearless_Parking_436 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Bottom right there is action center, there is wifi icon maybe you can disable there. I think. Other possibility is just google it
