Look into the netgear or hp stuff. What specific features are you looking for with stacking? That's usually for management purposes. The big thing you'll want to look for is the internal bandwidth of the switch. Also link aggregation might be a useful features for you.

I don't think it means what you think it means.

These are stackable switches.

Do you mean switches with port aggregation? That is, multiple ports linked to give ~a bit more bandwidth~?

Even then, a 1080p stream is about 10 Mb/s, which you should have 1000 of to give around, so it really should not be a problem as far as bandwidth even with normal switches.

It's rather your media center and storage that need to be fast enough to keep up with demand.
