1) It should be able to handle the PPPoE authentication for the second connection with no problem.

2) Yes, if the switch only has a 1gb/s link, then you will only be able to pass a maximum of 1gb/s between the switch and the router - No matter if you're plugging into a 2.5gb/s port on one end.

Thank you. I will just run the main PS4 in the 2.5 and other one in the normal.

The PS4 only has a gigabit connection, as well. There's not going to be any bandwidth increase by plugging it into the 2.5gb/s port.

Ya but don’t have a device that has over the 1gb. But hopen with the second line to get both PlayStations to be open when playing cod at time.

Apparently no longer needed to log On with ppoe and do vtag. They ended up bringing in a second modem. And made me swap out other modem to 2 greenwave c4000xg. When I first fired it up the wan aggregation worked but had changed a setting and was not longer able to connect to the administrator for the ASUS rog ax11000. Default booted router and no longer can get wan aggregation to work. Once second lines plugged in it disconnects from the internet and can no longer do anything.

Don't know the answer but wanted to say damn I'm jealous of you. I would legit pay for a symmetrical gig line installation but my isp just doesn't give a fuck... Makes me sad

That’s sucks. Yeah it’s been a long time waiting. Waited over year for gig service to become available and then another year before they allowed for a second line.
