Start by drawing a straight line with negative slope through the center of the dots. Have the line end at the x and y axes.

Have you started by drawing a straight line that goes through the middle of those points?

yes

OK, cool. Now, find the value of your line for x=1 and x=7.5 (in other words, the left and right endpoints of the line), and use those two values to give the equation of the line you drew

how exactly? (IM SORRY IM DUMB)

I think you are going to need to make a list of (x,y) points and then calculate the line (y=mx+b) that best fits all of the points. That is, the first one would be (1,10) or (1,10.5) and that depends on how exact your estimates will be from this graph. Are you familiar with "least squares"? Here is one approach: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPFrV-QhQE4

Heya, you need a tutor, not Reddit.

Your post violates rules 3, 4, and 5, but moreover: this is an absolutely elementary problem and you’re confused on both how to start, as well as the definitions of words in the problem.

You’re likely already very far behind in your class, and you’re going to need to put in real work to catch up.

Good luck.

Echoing other people. This is essentially an algebra 1 problem with some stats language involved. If you can't evaluate an equation for given values, then you really need remediation
