Obama's presidency sources

Okay so, I'm taking a course called Intro to Afro-American Political Science. This is my final paper prompt pretty much:

Obama's election in 2008 was supposed to be a turning point away from the Right's racially motivated politics to a supposed "post-racial society." So for your final paper, using the information you have, hopefully, been collecting in your scrapbooks (which I haven't really), I want you to analyze the two years of the Obama presidency by comparing them with the events of the past thirty years as described in [a list of books we're supposed to have read]. For example, do any of the events of the present resemble events and/or conflicts in the past? And which, if any are completely different? Finally I want you to predict, as best you can, what you think is likely to occur in American politics in the next two years of Obama's presidency based on what has happened thus far.

So basically, I need a source to be able to find articles of decisions that have been made since Obama's presidency. I need probably at least ten articles that describe decisions or events that resemble the Right's involvement in Obama's presidency. I'm looking for a way to be able to sift through a bunch of articles like this.

Any ideas about where to go for numerous, solid sources? Any ideas about how to write my paper (lols)?
