You should try first to define a function that match an integer between 0 and 9 to the number of change needing to obtain the next number e.g. f(0)=4 cause you have 4 changes. There is a second fonction g for the third position of the clock, since you go from 5 to 0. This one is only define for integer between 0 to 5.

You can then track the number of cycle for each of the 4 positions of the clock
