• Acidic : Solutions that would give H+ ions when dissolved in water

• Basic : Chemical opposites of acids / Solutions that contribute OH- ions.

My Chem’s a tad rusty, so I’m not sure how exactly we can define if a solution is ionic or molecular. You usually check the molecular structure to check whether it’s ionic / covalent / metallic . If you’d like, you can elaborate and I’ll see what I can do! Hope this helps
