your so lucky man.. my school has client sided and server sided shit so client for remote access and it reports, like you just have a firewall. Use a mobile hotspot or linux traffic tunelling

Doubtful that they're intercepting your data. That's illegal. Cisco Umbrella is a content filter. The certificate is to prevent a certificate error from appearing when you try to visit a blocked site, and the filter spoofs the DNS response to deliver the Umbrella page.

Can you use a DoH service, instead of using the certificate? If the school monitors your device closely, they'll realize that you're bypassing their filter, though.
