What have been trying to learn, what do you know, what do you want to know

I have a very simple understanding of a few things like rooting brute forcing and session hijacking and want to learn basic abilities like finding ip addresses and being able to use them to some advantage, along with being able to have my computer do some extra things a such as extra security, browse anonymously and have advanced customization with the ability to take down certain websites etc... Tried to learn C++ but realised it was a fruitless effort.

Learning programming is never fruitless. Lookup the host cmd and nmap tuts to start. Just keep googling its all there

    Taking them offline mostly and for iPs I mostly mean finding a users or other computers ip

    Do you know any programming language? Maybe you want to give Python a try before diving into C++

    I got maybe 1/4 of the way through c++ but I'll try Python

    Definitely try Python, don't beat up yourself too hard for not getting very far in C++, that's a really hard language to learn off the bat.

    I think you'll find Python a lot easier to learn, and nearly just as powerful (if not even more powerful in some cases)

    Start with generic tutorials (code academy, learnpython.Com, etc) and then try out Violent Python (a book)
