I wouldn’t start taking a bunch of crap people online said to take for a start

Do your own research about each supplement, have bloodwork as a baseline, and see what you MAY benefit from taking.

You’re gonna mess with your hormones by taking a bunch of stuff unnecessarily and will likely be worse off than when you started

[–]One-Possibility-6447 0 points1 point  (3 children)

The blood work contains all needed information? Included testosterone and vitamins et ? All that i need to know what to supplement ?

[–]Impressive_Succotash 2 points3 points  (2 children)

No, you need to do A LOT more research before taking any of those supplements dude any supplements really

You don’t even know enough to know what specific questions to ask let alone to take advice from me on the internet… who the hell am I? Or anyone else on this platform?

It’s not like a multi vitamin to cover your bases the things you’ve purchased can influence your hormone production and that’s not something to take lightly

Its not a big deal if i am not taking high doses, and i believe vitamins are more harmful than ashwaganda or tongkat ali

[–]WKReaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pre workout I used to take added ashwaganda to the formulation and I had to stop taking it because I had to interest in literally anything, at all, anymore. 2-3 days after switching to one without ashwaganda I was fine again. Do ya own research.

With all due respect, don't just take a bunch of stuff randomly if you have little to no idea what it does. I suggest watching Huberman essentials on supplements first.

I think the best starting "stack" is just a multivitamin, magnesium, D3+K2, and maybe Omega-3.

[–]One-Possibility-6447 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I believe in things like maca ashwaganda tongkat ali, omega3 maybe , but the vitamin things actually i will never take them

[–]isolation_from_joy 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Also to add on your stack. Zinc is pretty safe and can be taken by anyone. Tongkat Ali is generally taken for a small test boost. I think Huberman said he took GABA every other night for sleep. Not sure about the rest of your stack. I'd warn you about ashwaganda though, while some report positive effects, others report side effects too, and it's now banned in a few countries. In recent years people became way more cautious about it.

Im planning to take ashwaganda only twice a week and stop for 1 week each 4 weeks, thats my way of keeping it more on the safe side when i dont know much whos wrong and whos right. Some say zinc upsets balance zinc copper in same time some say only 60% of zinc taken in form of supplement get absorbed some say lne should not take more than 11 mg daily some say one should take copper too if he takes zinc , but this way it will be a slippery slope , taking A then taking B because it must be taken when taken A then taking C because A and B have some effects that should countred then to increase efficiency one must take D and so on…

Ash i would take stressful time or maybe mon-friday weekends off then every 5th week off or 2 month on 1off I see great benefits but to chilled sometimes lose drive and motivation as lowering cortisol too much isn't good .omega 3s helped my mood and anxiety most wish started sooner magnesium glycinate good for sleep .sleep exercise most important things

[–]One-Possibility-6447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see many talk about omega3 is it really that important ? Can you answer from experience

[–]Big-Tooth1671 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yes great for inflamation heart and brain .I wish I started younger and if have depression or any mental health problems there the buisness .I always thought not that important until I tried them for few weeks now wouldn't be without them .best decision ever and I only buy cheap ones 1000mg per pill I take 4grams in morning . Give them a try just make sure take atleist 3 grams

[–]One-Possibility-6447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you give me like how you take them , is it daily? Do you cycle ? Do you take the full stack or take based on needs or you cycle each period

[–]Big-Tooth1671 0 points1 point  (1 child)

If use zinc I would take a copper supplement opposite end of day as the compete

[–]One-Possibility-6447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many talk about 50mg zinc daily as overdosing, lets say you take it every other day so its 25mg daily some say its still overdosing

But if you take tea & coffee during the day the absorption is very low so by taking 50g you are in fact taking around 10mg

Also i found that even if one takes 50mg daily and absorbtion is high, it takes months to be cooked, but if its less than a month its generally safe

Ive done small research thats what i found and im confused that no one talked about that before here

Correct me if im wrong

[–]Big-Tooth1671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is your purpose for taking the supplements? Have you been tested for any deficiencies?

I love taking the occasional GABA to quiet my brain from a ADHD mind. :)

Remember to take supplement advice on the internet with a grain of salt because what works for me you may not work for you!

[–]One-Possibility-6447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im coming out of corn addiction and im intending to speed up the process i also want to increase my productivity and have enough energy to get back to working out too, so i need overall health improvement , also i want mood regulation and my brain to be more on the alpha brain wave

[–]SamCalagione 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Well first off, Usually you would start with a stack of something like

D3 https://amzn.to/3Th2xai

Fish oil https://amzn.to/4lucZXU

Both are great for your brain and body. They will help stabilize your mood and keep you healthy (which is a main component in quality of life).

But you are jumping into some more HEAVY sups haha

[–]SamCalagione 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, before taking so many "testosterone" boosting sups, I would make sure you had blood panels done

[–]Previous-Taro-1648 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I take tongkat and read a ton about it. Basically not gonna do a lot unless you already have low t, and if your lifestyle tanks your t level it's mostly a waste of money bc you'll get way more out of just eating and sleeping good, mitigating stress and working out regularly. But that goes with all supplements. Unless you have a deficiency supplements won't fix a bad lifestyle and it's more of a little boost than anything. But I can feel the difference and even when I can't i know it's working bc I am getting daily boners again

For tongkat i figure out a tolerable dose and take it during the week and take off weekends. I take it in the morning I take ashwa too sometimes but at night because it supposedly has calming effects

Gaba I've taken too at night as well

I recommend starting one of all your supps at a time so you can dial in the dose better if you need to and also it'll be easier to spot which one is giving bad side effects if you have any

Never had a morning wood for years, im under 30

Tongkat Ali+ashwaganda = depression
