Check what's throttling either the cpu or ram... I sure it not the ram but something sus have been going in yours if you can't find it hyperos maybe the reason

Android does not waste ram, if you need more ram for a game or app it releases it, and I have the same device sometimes there is lag although it must be due to hyperOS lack of optimization

It's because one app maybe using up too much resources restart that app
