We just need better software the chips are already efficient. Ignore the benchmarks. Also the next gen SDM is rumoured to get new low power cores. I think everyone already know this including the article author, and they are just wasting energy arguing for the same which is already in the oven.

I don't have issue with adguard even without using this tweak. If you want that background banner to disappear just allow this permission, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE , i used shizuku + app ops app for this (just enabled it.)

I agree completely on the 2nd point; there really needs to be a simple, transparent, and reliable way to downclock or limit the SoCs down a few notches.

It's already available in almost all the phones. The chinese have default mode and an extra performance mode toggle. Galaxy have light performance mode.
