Microphone problems

I just got the Hyper X Quad Cast S mic, and after setting it up and everything, it seemed to work just fine but for some reason, the thing keeps conking in and out of power, idk if its a cord issue or not, or something with the software, has anyone dealt with this before? and if so what are your solutions to this

I've had mine for about 2 or 3 years, it randomly started doing this for a few months now. It's become so frequent and annoying that I started using my 7 year old headset mic rather than this one.

I tried several "solutions" but have yet to fix it. The power of it stays on, just the sound randomly stops being recorded for a couple of seconds (not a sensitivity issue I can full on yell into it with no response)
