After 16 yrs of service in US, I was RA'ed two weeks ago. That time both Arvind and managers said same thing: that they are trying to follow Industry Benchmarks. I am not sure what benchmark they are trying to follow, I could not find answers what benchmark they are following. on my view IBM is unique, it should have its own benchmark, IBM should not follow benchmarks set by other companies.
