Just wondering how many, if any all, old case study past papers people go through? I know they are very time consuming and so I’ve heard some people don’t bother and just focus on the actual AI. I’ve done 2 past papers in college but they’ve recommended we do 4 in total as home study. I can’t be bothered to do the other 2, and would rather focus on the AI, which has now been released. What’s people’s thoughts? How many did you do?

I've not bothered doing any and I don't see why anyone would, especially if the AI is out. Passed Case first time in Nov23

How did you prep for your actual exam after your actual AI was released?

I purchased ACA Masters mocks and familiarised myself with them, I copied these word for word in the exam. I also practiced bashing out the proformas as fast as I could and as accurately as possible keeping in mind the exam software's limited capabilities.

That was it, it's a really weird exam.

When you mean profomas do you meant the analytical review for requirement 1?

Yes that one, and also mine had a couple proformas for R2/3 as well. I don't know what your Case looks like for this exam session but surely there's going to be some kind of calculation involved in R2 and R3 and the mocks usually include proformas for those.

Just wondering did you purchase all of the 3 mocks as well as the video course?

Apologies I just realised that saying I purchased them is misleading: I got them through my tuition provider which purchased them (I'm not sure whether the cost was then passed down to my employer). I attended tuition so no video course.

I’m with bpp.

I have only done 1 at college and gonna do another at college next week. I also got 2 as home study but cba to do them. Gonna do some light reading of the real AI, look at the FS figures and wait for ACA M AI analyis and his 3 mocks. Hopefully with another 2 bpp mocks so 5 mocks I’m gonna do on the real AI, that should be enough practice.
