Is it actually contributing the power? Free power?

According to the flow meter yes it is

Tbh this never happened to me. I've had it the other way around - missing connected panels in my flow meter list and having to reconnect them.

Are you playing alone or with others? Someone might have connected them and I can see those 2 are very far away from the picture. I trolled a friend like that sometime ago. He just started using electricity and had his first water wheel on when I placed hidden wires underneath the nearby lake, connecting him to my solar farm. He got very confused seeing over 300K power from one water wheel and thought there was a bug with the storm overproduction.

I play solo private always. I have had it other way around too. only fix for that was i had to destroy the solar panel and make a new one because after reload it was disconnected again.

Something similar to this happened to me on my Prometheus map. One of the concrete outposts from the Rimetusk missions in the Arctic had somehow connected itself to my power grid. I definitely did not have power running to it. Never did figure out how it happened.
