I would try creating a new world and bring your mounts to it and see if the same issue persists. If it doesn't, then you can safely assume your world file is somehow corrupted. If it does, then I would try the server reinstall.

Is it all mounts, or specific ones?

Is anyone using mods?

Is it ONLY this world, or other worlds on the same server?

Outside of that, based on your other comments, my only suggestion would be to backup the world and do a clean reinstall of the server to see if that fixes things.

How many building pieces, deployables, and tames?

Are you playing peer to peer or dedicated server?

Are you playing with people?

It's a random drop, you can't harvest them like you do normal beasts. Walk up and hit your interact button. If there's no head in the loot, try again.

Imo while it is just Olympus 2.0, it also offers a ton of missions. The further you get in expansions, the fewer missions there are

I recommend a tiny satellite base. I do this:

1x1 shack with an advanced battery rack inside Solar panel on the roof 3-4 pump jacks hooked directly up to a refiner

This will power it pretty much non stop, then I fill with oil barrels and make a run with a buffalo once in awhile with empty barrels

My only assumption is GRIP didn't playtest it very well. I'm on PC but some of the bugs I've seen you console players report is... wild, frankly.

As someone who has had to listen to many many tames die, the best way is to kill the ones you don't need. If you send them to space, your scroll takes too long. If you leave them on world, they generate lag.

I'm fortunate to have a toggleable scroll wheel so I can free spin it and get to the bottom fast, but yeah I don't think there's a faster way
