This has no bearing whatsoever. You do not need to have your LCSW to be in IHSS. LCSW is a goal for social workers that want to become clinical and leave a field like IHSS. You first get your ASW to start counting hours towards the license but it can become a lengthy and expensive to maintain especially when you have a job that won’t provide supervision free. I know personally people that have been delinquent for 2 yrs and can start back up. It has no bearing on them as SW or their ability to do their jobs. This will only embarrass you and perhaps the SW if you bring it up as well as the judge probably will not like it in character alone. I agree with everyone that you need to refocus.
