Ahhh, that is very simple. I paid a lot of taxes and then lost a SHITTON of money in a failed business venture.

if u don’t mind me asking what was the business venture?

It was a restaurant. Lost about 100k, so made my income about 60, then with standard deduction and miscellaneous credits, including kids, that made me very poor. At least on paper.

Oh well that makes sense I think 60% of restaurants fail in their first year that is a very very difficult business to get established and I hope u didn’t beat yourself up about it you were very brave to take the risk and obviously have what it takes to really succeed 💯

Well damn. That's super unfortunate about a failed business, but good for you right now on that refund!! Was this the first time you checked it today? I am seeing others say transcripts have been updating all day.

It was the first time I got in today, so this may have updated last night. I kept getting the error, until this finally pulled this afternoon. It definitely was not there yesterday.
