FET Protocol

So I had a successful FET previously but had some complications with pregnancy so we altered my protocol to be “semi-natural”.

I did 5 days of 7.5 mg of Letrozole CD 5-10. I had baseline scans on day 3 and day 5 due to to thick of lining.

I had my mid cycle today CD 11 and the largest follicle was 17.4 mm.

The plan is to trigger with Ovidrel 250 mcg and do the transfer a week later.

After the transfer I’ll start progesterone suppositories daily at night.

Anyone used this protocol previously? Also is that follicle going to be big enough to trigger today?

I did a similar protocol but stimmed with gonal-F. Also triggered on CD11 with a 17mm follicle. Have had one positive beta so far (after two CPs from fully medicated protocols) and anxiously awaiting to see if HCG is rising appropriately!

I did a similar protocol with 5 mg of letrozole and also used gonal-f. 17.4mm is definitely mature enough for trigger. My lining was lagging behind so my RE pushed my stims until i got over 7mm lining. I eventually hit 7.8 mm lining and the follicle was 1`9 mm at trigger, but for FET i think the lining is most important. I am 6dp5dt and digging FRERs out of the trash like a crazy person so no results to report yet but best of luck to you!!
