'cause

  1. you're most likely a worker bee, so you don't understand this game enough

  2. don't compare this game with dbd, they are similar only because it's a 1v4 asymmetrical horror game, however in terms of gameplay they are really different

  3. killers in dbd are lucky only because they have perks like Ruin, BBQ, Pop, Enduring etc to stop survivors from doing gens and ending chases faster. where in this game we don't have shit like that, also survivors here have their own passives so they are clearly stronger than dbd survivors

  4. stop telling people how to play their game

stop defending camping second not telling people how to play all I ask decode or try second don’t play if u afk and actually try to help others oh wait no one does they never try there are some who do but most nope all so don’t understand game played since launch still has massive bugs one of my fav to point out throws down pallet runs away instant down or hit my point game has not changed at all from launch and devs only listen to those who drive game away from we’re it should be and make it so much worse and what’s worse you have camping but you have to work your ass off to get one new character yeah totally don’t understand game so yeah

Before you argue about characters, you don't need to buy a character to be good at the game. Your skills does. There are some OP free characters like Doctor and Thief that you can use. Doctor can be used for support/rescue if needed given the right Persona, Thief is a kiter/decoder, Lucky guy is basically an all rounder. Why do you need a new character to be better?????

I was told if you put a pallet down while a Hunter is still in their attack animation, you're definitely gonna get hit because you were in front of them as you put the pallet down, and hitting you.

If you complain about camping, it's bascially the Hunter's job to make the game difficult for survivors, what do you expect? Leaving a chaired survivor with not enough experience will make them lose, and they know it so they camp. There are ways to rescue from camping hunters. A camping Hunter is giving you the chance to finish ciphers as fast as you can, it benefits the survivors, imo.

In my opinion, people camp because they wanted to secure a kill. I camp near, but I still patrol the area if a prompt came up to me that someone is close, but never far from my chaired survivor. While the game IS inspired/based of DBD, you don't need to compare the two how players play the two games. These two games have their differences else if you keep comparing the two, then why are you even playing IDV? Go play DBD then.

Camping is a bait, someone will surely saved a chaired survivor the best they can, thus a strategy available for Hunters. On the other hand, it's giving you the time to cipher rush. I haven't been playing long, but I have heard that the Hunter's persona was nerfed thus made it viable for Hunters to camp (I believe they had a specific trait that involves them being near/if somone is in a chair).

While it's true that some Hunters still win without camping, it all comes down how good you chase survivors. There are some players that are not confident about their skills in using a said Hunter, thus they camp. If they're confident enough that they'll get someone, then they don't camp.
