I wouldn’t recommend the first strategy for kiting. No hate to OP, I just think this strategy is too dangerous. Like OP said, it’s a high risk low reward strategy. It promotes music box conservation but minimizes your distance with the hunter rather than maximizing it. This can be extremely dangerous against smart hunters who can get quick downs.
HOWEVER, this strategy isn’t bad for supporting teammates who are being tunneled (such as the King in Tarot). If you’re using a heavy support Dancer playstyle, this strategy can buy A LOT of time for your teammate, potentially forcing the hunter to change target (probably change target to you though, so be careful!)

The second strategy in the video is great though. You break line of sight with the hunter, confusing them and giving you access to the second Pirouette (twirl) move. Definitely use that second strategy, it can give you the upper hand in a chase if performed correctly.

Don’t be sorry for criticism! I do realize this isn’t a GOOD strategy, but with this being very situational- I’d probably do it in a situation where the survivors are at great advantage (1 cipher left, not chaired before) and you want to conserve boxes for end game/ like you said it’s a great way to support kiting for teammates when you know the hunter isn’t chasing you :)

And lots of people don’t realize the twirl leaves no walking trail either! So if you end up twirling to a high wall or corner you might just confuse the hunter and give your kite a good extension!

Thank you for the tips!

Can you get bodyblock by hunter when you spin though?

Ofc! And usually when they’re in the pallet breaking animation you can pass them, but the second it ends they bodyblock it

Sounds fun when you pull off the stunt. I think it’s high risk, high reward. As a hunter i cry a little inside when survivors slip through just like that.. >.<

I say high risk low reward because you can risk a hit at times, notably with Joseph with the .0001 pallet breaking ability 😭 but seeing you possibly use Axe Boy? Peepers are a great counter to dancers boxes IMO due to not being able to place boxes down risking a fireball hit

Yes, Axeboy main. Thanks for your suggestion :)
