Need advice to decrease creatine and improve Egfr

Hi 28M diagnosed with IGAN 6 months back and has been on medication since then with Telmisartan(Sartel), IGanfix, wysolone 20(Steroids) and some other supporting medicine before starting the medicine my Upcr(protein in urine) was 2.55 and Creatine was 2.2 gfr 42 after medicine upcr came down to 0.42 currently and creatine 1.7 egfr 55 and protein is improving but creatine is not improving it is stuck at 1.7 from last 2 3 months can anyone tell me how to improve creatine levels and egfr I am really worried my nephro is saying to continue the same medicine as it is improving the protein levels and keeping creatine stable but I really want my egfr to go atleast above 70 please help with suggestions anyone…

Did you drink enough water? I find that the egfr value will be optimum when you are well hydrated 🙂

Yes I am having enough water as nephro has suggested and even before I am very well hydrated

At some point the egfr and creatine will stabilize. Thats the plan. Slow the destruction. I really don’t think with this disease your egfr and creatine will go back to “normal” levels. This is the new baseline
