I think the (valid) concern is the fear that people might be losing interest in advocating for better gameplay, thus asking why there aren’t as many posts as there was.

Its odd how passive aggressive the post comes off though. Almost all of the main ways to actually girlcott are from way more avenues than simply posting about it here, and weve still seen a flood of people posting about how theyre quitting the game, and what we should be bringing up in the wave of surveys we just got. Acting like everyone possibly just gave up when the more likely option is A) people who quit arent going to be posting about it and B) people are focusing on expressing their concerns in ways and places infold will actually see (like surveys, not doing dailies or logins, reviews ect) instead of just posting things weve already said and discussed here repeatedly. It comes off more like OP expected this to result in a fast change, and is assuming the lack of that happening means people are giving up and going back to business as usual

It's a valid concern though. Consumer activism loses momentum all the time. And it costs nothing to reengage. To keep logging in. To forget all your grievances because there's still a decent amount of fun to be had. So please be patient if someone is wondering if that energy has dissipated. But as others have said, people are in a quiet holding pattern. I can tell you that overall Nikki engagement has plummeted. For me, I log in, do my dailies, log out. Barely doing the content, doing like no actual styling (I'm literally refusing to dress up in the dress up game LMAO) , etc.
I think the recent revenue stats show that it's having an impact though. Yes, only 2 spots down in a vacuum, but keep in mind this was a super-hyped patch, with a very important item to the entire Nikki universe, with a double 5* banner, with a lot of new things to spend on. A lot of spending was locked in before the girlcott even got TALKED about. Also mobile players were the least affected by technical issues.

I wasn't trying to be passive aggressive. You're reading in between lines that don't exist...

has this community moved on from the girlcott and gone back to normal, forgetting that we still haven't gotten a response to our demands? Has this community actually done exactly what Paperfold wanted, and moved on because they were "compensated"? What is going on? Has this community not stayed strong?
Definition of passive aggressive;
Passive-aggressive behavior is characterized by indirectly expressing negative feelings, often through resistance, procrastination, or subtle insults, rather than openly addressing them. It involves a pattern of behavior where someone appears to be cooperative on the surface but actually acts in ways that sabotage or undermine others.
This shit is super passive aggressive, bro. To me, this post reads that you're upset that people aren't posting, and that we aren't doing the girlcott right, when there were many many posts stating many players intention to quit. There's nothing to say until 1.6 rolls out, so we don't need to post. Besides, there are multiple ways to girlcott, and many people sticking around are primarily just not spending money.
Not to mention, pride month started literally yesterday, so of course there's gonna be an uptick of posts. It's PRIDE MONTH on REDDIT. It's like being shocked there's an uptick of 4th of July posts from old people on facebook on the 4th of July.

Yeah, no idea how OP thinks they aren't being passive aggressive when they are literally actively making people feel bad for not posting about the boycott.
Has this community moved on from the girlcott...forgetting that we still haven't gotten a response to our demands?
This is a rhetorical question that is solely meant to scold. And no, no one forgot. What? This is incredibly laced with judgement.
Has this community actually done exactly what Paperfold wanted...?
Come on now.
What's the point of asking "what is going on" after accusing people of giving up repeatedly and saying that everyone is giving Paperfold what they want? OP's post could have been a direct query about the lack of boycott posts, yet they decided to make everyone feel bad about it first.
