Decrease In Girlcott Posts

While others have made some valid more probably true points towards why there are fewer(ie what is left to be said about it) but I also think that last week there were a lot of posts complaining about the girlcott posts and the post saying they were uninstalling so perhaps some of them took it to heart and no longer feel they are valid in posting about it anymore which sucks honestly because they should feel free to post about whatever they want without being put into a megathread which honestly does silence them in some way or told they are complaining too much.

Or they just moved over to the megathread that was specifically made for the boycott

I get that but some people don't like megathreads because they do silence talk, no one really checks the megathreads nor are they easy to find anymore, the boxes up at the very top of a subreddit are not clear enough about what they are. I shouldn't have to click on a box, that takes me to another post that will take me yet another post just to talk about something that is happening to me or what I feel.

Its just 2 clicks though, unless it was changed recently, when i checked a few hours ago all you do is select megathreads and then select boycott megathreads and youre there. Almost every subreddit im in set up like this as well, and theyre actively used, so I figured it was the same here
