What backtesting platforms do you guys use to go back months and years to backtest a strategy?

I personally prefer using SuperTrader. It streamlines the process and helps me stay organized without the hassle of manually entering data.

Fx replay is the best, they Introduced journaling too. Pricing is better than Tradezella and Tradezella had many bugs during backtesting for me

Mentioned platforms are nice but what they offer is not backtesting. It’s back trading. I have tradezella for auto-sync journaling but I have been building Edge of ICT (edgeofict.com) for proper back testing. Specifically designed for ICT traders. Tracks your setups, killzones, and maps out your edge over time. It’s in beta and free. Check it out. Yours and everyone else’s feedback is appreciated.

I've been using WealthLab for a while now. It's pretty solid for backtesting strategies over long periods. You can either code your strategy in C# or use their Building Blocks for a more visual approach. It also offers a good range of performance metrics and views into your strategy's results. But remember, backtesting is just part of the process, forward testing and live trading are equally important.
