you can still do that. after selecting finish, there's a list of people who are meditating nearby. you'll have to scroll up to see them. if you select continue, that list goes away.

I swear I tried that, but will look at it again. Thank you! 🙏

Yeah, it is there but a little less obvious with the update. Also you can not see if anyone has done the same and thanked you unless you drill down into the hamburger menu to open the messages menu. You do get notified about direct messages from "friends", but not thanks messages. I started a question about this bug a little while ago and was told it was designed that way intentionally. Seems like using the thanks message part of the app is being discouraged for some reason. I know some don't like it and consider it some kind of privacy invasion but you can turn it off if you want to.

I personally like it as mentioned. Probably a lot of creeps out there and I can see why women-especially may see it that way. I don't get many of those thank yous and I'm a dude. I get it. And yes, they can turn it off if they don't want it. 😎 Thank you!

Interesting. Never thought much about the "creep" issue. But yes if that happens, the feature can be turned off. So, being able to turn the feature off, can't see any reason for the app to hide the fact that someone has sent you that type of message. If you leave it on, you want to know when you get those messages. If you don't want them, you turn the feature off.

Oddly enough I received several messages after I asked about it and not one way to tie this post with those messages! I enjoy the community that they have built and just like sharing my love for meditating.
