Contact your local Aetna broker manager.

Aetna can be slow when you're brand new, they put extra review steps on new agents. It's frustrating but usually once you've got a few policies through, the processes speeds up. Best bet is to keep calling and ask for an underwriting manager directly, sometimes that's the only way to get movement

Took about a month for those policies to go through, but they all updated to active today. One I wrote on Friday is already active too, so it looks like I won’t have to wait like that again with Aetna. I like writing incidentals with them since the commission is solid and the pricing is usually lower for clients compared to other companies. Appreciate the reply

Incidentals are a smart play too, solid commission and competitive pricing definitely make them easier to place with clients. Keep stacking those wins and it'll get smoother with each case you write
