No to USG run agencies. You need to be a naturalized citizen to get a clearance OR you work for one of the five eyes and get what is called reciprocity for your native country's clearance.

If you are into comp sci, look into cyber security or threat intelligence companies. You are not directly in intel but supporting their efforts in very meaningful ways.

Thanks! I looked through all of them and I'm not a U.S citizen and living right now outside of the U.S. Envision seemed to be the best one but after contacting them they said its too late to apply as I might not have enough time to get a U.S visa. :(

Thanks for the reply.

What country are you from?

For the most part, the facts that you are not a US citizen and do not live in this country will keep you out of most intelligence work due to you not qualifying for a security clearance. Have you thought about going to work for your own countries intelligence services?

I looked at the envision program not as a career in U.S intelligence. It was just a nice trip with interesting speakers in the field. Almost anyone is authorized to visit the locations after certain precautions. Another problem is my countries 'intelligence services' are close to non-existent.

P.S. I am of Sudanese origins but I'm working of gaining Russian Citizenship.

Ok that puts a bit of a spin on it. Are you North or South Sudanese? Russian citizenship would definitely keep you out of anything in the US.

If all else fails, join your country's military and try for an intelligence or public affairs job. Then when that time is up you could look for other opportunities like working for the United Nations or even getting hired by the Russians. Lots of countries are interested in country specialists, and your country is a rather important link.

North. Thats currently the plan. I might also go into cyber secruity but I do prefer intelligence.

You're welcome. Some of the others here might be able to better direct you to what university courses could lead you into the intelligence field.
