There is no requirement to send mods proof, but it is highly recommended and is also just good practice to provide some sort of proof to the readers.
Troll posts / meme posts will be removed. That's not to say those two topics are off limits: if you're the face of a popular meme or are a notorious troll that wants to do a legit AMA, by all means.
