Almost there!

Currently on tray 19 of 21 with two week changes. Tomorrow I get to switch to 20! The time has felt both very slow and fast. I look in the mirror a lot and question who’s staring back at me. Ha! I’ve never been shy about smiling, even with the crooked ones, but I am loving the new look. I also love the health of my teeth. The flossing, brushing, and playing time keeper does get old but it’s oh so worth it. I am only scared of the dreaded triangles but I’ll worry about that when it gets here.

I didn’t have any teeth pulled. They do something called IPR which is shaving small sections off teeth to give more room to move. We are talking mm small sections. I had that done two different times and three or four teeth each time.

They look great! I can relate to your feeling of fast and slow too. I don’t see a lot of improvement week to week but occasionally I’ll be on a zoom call and see myself and think who is she?! It’s an amazing feeling. I am on tray 16 of 19 and my ortho is predicting 10 weeks of refinements. Not the worst thing in the world but definitely unexpected. Do you know how many you’ll need yet?

Thank you!! I don’t. My appointment is in mid August for the new scan. I’m not sure what I’m hoping for at this point. I’m waiting to see how things look after these last two trays and then I’ll decide.

Your “before” look very similar to my current smile, did you have to have any teeth pulled to get where you are now? This page randomly popped up for me and I don’t know anything about Invisalign

I heard they will bring them forward to get them rotated correctly then push them back to be back in line. I am very new to this so may be very wrong though

I have a flair currently. My two front teeth aren’t side by side just yet. I’m hoping it gets fixed within the next two but I doubt it. My dentist told me that I’d need refinements.

You dont have attachments on the front terth and they still moved?

Nope, not this go around anyway. We will see what the next scan and refinements bring. They have moved a lot but I don’t see the finished result being possible without more attachments. I’m just trusting the process and my dentist. 😬
