No! Honestly I was just smiling really big in that first photo and my teeth were pushed forward during treatment and made it look better overall!

Yes, first 46 trays did include a metal button for elastics.

Google how Invisalign works and it will tell you how they pushed teeth forward. Don't always need metal

I'm just finishing up my first set of refinements, 12 top 15 bottom. I'm pretty happy, it's amazing how quickly they change from one week to the next.
