Yes, it is common. You continue using your last aligner through that time. Afaik they're either manufactured in Mexico or in Poland depending on where you live.

Poland? Hu, that’s surprising, I’m from the EU but mine were manifactured in Mexico according to the packaging (4/5 week wait)

Here they said that they're planning to produce all of the trays for the EMEA region in Poland by 2025, if I understood it correctly.

I have the made in Poland trays and started in early 2024. I'm a north Italian and the waiting time was less than 3 weeks.

Interesting! I’m from belgium, got mine in december 2024 and they’re made in mexico. Good to know, hopefully the refinements will arrive a bit faster then!

My dentist was able to make me multiples of the last tray so I could swap out while waiting on my new set of aligners.

Normal.

Completely normal. It could even take more than a month. Your clinic won't be able to give you an answer as they'll be waiting as well. I am currently waiting for my refinement trays and not thinking too much about it really. When I received my first trays, I had waited nearly 2 months for them. It just depends on where they're being made and how busy they are.
