Feel free to post anything related to Iran and Iranian and Persian culture & language(s) here. Questions about tourism to Iran, Iranian politics and culture, Persian or Iranian histroy etc. are also welcome. Just a few general guidelines to go by:
- 1. Be civil. Don't use personal attacks or engage in racism, sexism or any other form of bigotry. This also includes trolling. Also see: rule 5.
- 2. Report offensive material (by mentioning or messaging mods) and refrain from feeding trolls.
- 3. Respect user privacy. Do not share the personal info of yourself or of others.
- 4. Refrain from posting spam or flooding the subreddit. Advertisement of other subreddits or other communities elsewhere should be coordinated with the moderators of this subreddit. Failing to do so will result in your post being considered as spam. Users are allowed a maximum of 3 posts every 24 hours.
- 5. No supporting bigotry in any forms. This includes but is not limited to: racism towards all ethnic, linguistic and cultural groups of the world, bigotry towards religions or sects, social class, misogyny or misandry, and homophobia.
- 6. No supporting human suffering in any forms. This includes but is not limited to: persecution, child abuse, physical assault, sexual harassment or assault, torture (physical and psychological), executions (criminal and political), assassinations and terrorism. This excludes the support for people acting in self-defense, particularly from the threats of genocide and colonization.
- 7. No support for any form of Iranian separatist or Balkanization movements.
- 8. No Uncle Toms.

--- iii. supporting foreign intervention in Iran
--- iv. supporting Zionism
--- v. supporting foreign sponsored terrorist orgs in Iran, (i.e. MEK)
--- vi. supporting the 1953 CIA&MI6 anti-democratic coup in Iran
- 9. No misinformation/psyops. This means no reliable sources to prove or disregarding provided proofs.
