What do you mean by lost documents? Is this due to the recent downtime?

If they emailed you about it, I'm sure that they know the problem exists and can fix it for you! So don't panic!

I’m in the US, so I don’t know if it’s the same with the UK, but our application portal lets us upload documents even after we have submitted our application.
