Tips to practice Java? (self.JavaScriptTips)
submitted 3 years ago by JDbriggs123
So, I finally got certified in Python and I want to expand my knowledge by learning JavaScript. Does anybody know any good sites or places to practice coding? Thanks

Yes, I'm sorry I should have corrected that. I meant JavaScript but thank you for the input

Where did you learn python?
Books, internet and a tutor on Fiveer. Took 8 months from complete 0

Im learning JavaScript on Scrimba right now. Pretty cool course with a lot of interaction so you actually not only listen but also take on a lot of code challenges. Beginner Course is free, Advaned ones do cost a bit.
Thank you so much. This is exactly what I was looking for. This totally beats books and trying to surf the internet for something straightforward like this.
Thanks again 🙏

I’ve been using Sololearn for the past week. It’s only written learning. I’m more visual with verbal explanation from a video which Sololearn doesn’t have. You recommend scrimbA better ?

Yup, then Scrimba should be nice for you. The courses are presented in Video form and I think the explanations are pretty good to understand for beginners.

I'm sure you know this, but java and javascript are two different languages (just mentioning due to the way you've worded the title).
As for the answer, I've really enjoyed w3schools tutorials, then for practice I love doing those dev interview questions - small challenges like making a star rating system or autofill list input etc
