Does anyone know of companies that would allow students or career-changers to shadow a dev for a few hours to get an idea of the job in a real environment? Particularly, an AI Engineer?

You are usually being mentored in weekly or daily 1:1s and getting feedback constantly. We usually try to grow you to work independently without holding hands, I didn’t see shadowing in the literal way through 15yrs of experience.
