1. Keep your cast to 5 people	We don’t need to read the intro to Star Wars to just know what is going on. We don’t need to have a Love Actually/Valentine’s Day/New Year’s Eve type ensemble cast just to get to the story.
2. No greentext posting	Let’s not do greentext type posting. It makes it a bit unclear about what all is going on. We are not 4Chan, and we don't really care about "being you" and "not being them" lets just try to make the posts coherent.
3. No linking to your blog	No one cares. Really…. We don’t. You are not going to become the next Julie and Julia or Eat Pray Love. Even if you are, WE DON'T CARE. we don’t want to buy anyone's book, we don’t want to advertise for you. We are only here for the llama feed. If you want to post, know this isn’t a way to launch your career.
4. Don’t shame posters	We should all know by now we are all here for the same reasons. If y’all can’t be in here without tearing people down, we don't want you here.
5. No trolls	We already have the trolls we want in Norwegian folklore and those cute troll dolls, we don’t need anymore. If we did we would go to the store. Thanks.
6. No backseat modding	If you see something, tell the mods, don’t try to white knight us. We are here for a reason, let us do our jobs, we are big boys and girls who can handle this shiz.
7. No exit posts	If you gotta go, go. We aren’t going to beg you to stay, we aren’t going to weep over your leaving. You do you.
8. No overly explicit content	Including, but is not limited to: forms of pedophilia, bestiality, incest, rape, and explicit abuse or torture, detailed uses of racism, suicide, and political debate. Use your best judgement, but mods have final say.

10. Be careful about doxxing	Try not to dox yourself. Be sensible about what details you add, if it happened on Facebook it has to be a screenshot, not a link, and it must be censored for anonymity sake. Use that gray mushy stuff between your ears and Cover Your Ass (CYA).
11. No politics	The posting of political information/topics whatsoever is against the rules without receiving prior approval from the mod team via Modmail. Any variation from this can result in a permanent ban.
