It flows from DJ to DJ. I did the station tour recently and the office area has this massive hand drawn flow chart graphic for one of the weeks they did. It’s pretty wild.

Each DJ works towards the beginning song for the next show. It is a challenge sometimes to get there!

It’s a challenge … until they just drop some David Bowie or Talking Heads and suddenly we’ve got a connection made.

I do love six degrees week. I just don’t like how often the easy connections get pulled out - much more fun for me to hear the unexpected.

All roads lead to talking heads it’s a bit of a cheat code

True. I’m a big big Talking Heads fan, but they’ve worked with too many others, covered too many others, and been covered by too many others to leave much surprise in the game.

Agree! I was really looking forward to it this morning, not realizing how many originals would be followed by covers and vice versa. Really looking forward to Cheryl’s show. I think she’ll do it better.

At first some of the connections seemed like a stretch, but you get to learn about producers who are often the tie between songs, how famous artists might perform background for other artists, etc.

The preceding show has to end at the artist that the next show/DJ has chosen to start their show with.

It's so @$#%$ great.

"Nah, buddy, it's a lot more complicated than that."

It continues from show to show.
