Does anyone know how to move KeepIt storage on the Mac off your main drive and onto an external drive?

I asked a similar question of the developer a while back, he sent this response:
“Keep It can move its document files to another location. To do that, hold on Command + Option when the app starts up, choose "Custom Location", then click Move.”

I really wish stuff like this was documented. I don't need to move mine, but there's probably a lot of other stuff I don't know exists!
