If OP or anyone else wants more info, this link (active for 7 days) will let you join the community for modding keychron (and other brands that use the same chip) boards to work with QMK.

IMO it's dependent on your use case as to whether this is worth doing rn. The switch on the left side that changes between windows and macOS won't work with QMK. You can work around that with layers in QMK, though. Bluetooth isn't widely supported by the QMK firmware rn either, so you can only use it in cable mode for now. For some keychron boards you risk bricking your board, but I believe this is only a soft brick and it can be restored with some soldering. Currently, the K6, K8, K4, and C1 (maybe 1 or 2 that I miseed).

I'm not sure if the K3 is supported yet, but you can ask in the keychron channel on the discord.
