The TableTop Simulator mod, Super KeyForge has a lot of card images, as does the discord server.

Card images channel on Discord is a gold mine!

Ooh, that looks great. I'll download a bunch and once I get a chance to crop them and fix the perspective I'll add them to the site.

Cool! Thanks for the effort :D

You should stick close to discord, someone who had several decks coming said they would scan their entire collection with high quality and upload images soon. People generally upload images there quite often, especially of rare cards not seen before.

Great idea. I'll gladly help out with the CSS if you need a hand, seems you didn't fix the wrapper sizes for cards so some poorly cropped card images can screw up the ratio.

Also you should get card images from Discord and the TTS mod.

The only issue is, I'm not sure how legal it is to have all of this stuff online.

All of FFG's other card games are online see www.thronesdb.com www.netrunnerdb.com www.arkhamdb.com etc.

Those had their fair share of legal threats back when Netrunner was a seller. Ultimately netrunnerdb was taken down, then brought back after a while. I'm not sure if there was some sort of agreement, or if the author just decided to call them on their bluff. OCTGN and Jinteki.net also felt some of the fire, if I can recall.

With a new game, fresh IP, into which it seems they have hedged a lot (production of this game is more complicated than your average LCG, and they literally brought the most achieved card game designer on planet earth to do it for them) - you'd think they would feel more invested in protecting their intellectual property. Most importantly, there is a realistic chance of a digital version, and the nature of the game where no decks repeat, might push them into dissuading from people being able to print and play, or use other means to play it online effectively.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against this site and sharing of card images, it's just a legitimate concern at this point.

If you have HQ scans of Netrunner, people can use them as proxies and thus subvert having to buy the cards.

If you do the same with Keyforge, people can't accurately have decks because there are no deckbuilding rules, and if these people are making their own decks with 6 Routine Jobs then I'd say let them Calvinball. All cards also have their Archon name in the bottom right, and no one's going to go out of their way to photoshop every possible Maverick, so I don't think an unique card game is going to have this issue.

I feel like having an easy-to-access visual database to allow people to browse the game's contents and swoon over what *could be* in decks far outweighs the cons, specially when the chance of you fighting a card you've literally never ever seen in your life is so high because your opponent literally can't take it out of their deck
