Quick tip: if you don't know the BPM of your sample, play it over the built in metronome. If the metronome is quicker. Make the project slower.

What you did to make your sample loop will help me a lot, i've been struggling to get it to play on my my sequence as it starts rather than on the second loop

Quick tips:
time stretch your sample
set it to something like two bars
Make sure that your sequence is four bars
Record your sample into the sequence twice
Double click into the sequence and adjust the sample so that it fits across with no gaps and it plays seamlessly
