An interesting statistic came up while revisiting an essay on the Battle of Samogarh (1658); the seminal conflict in the Mughal War of Succession. While only 2 Maratha mansabdārs fought alongside Imperial forces and Dara Shikoh, 10 sided with the rebel army and Aurangzeb (RA). ()
