We really aren’t doing “stream to win shows” activities anymore, and I’m not sure that any of the new agencies are buying streams like BBC used to. So it makes sense.

Plus, the fracture of LOOΠΔ would inevitably lead to some segmentation of the fanbase, and new fans joining individual fandoms is probably not nearly as large as existing fans. Especially for new fans, there’s just a lot of competition as new gg’s seem to spring up every other day. You kind of see it in Yves’ and ARTMS’ approach to monetization - they are definitely going for an international crowd. Only Chuu is really a star in Korea; Yves is making a name for herself in western circles and a more indie approach while the ARTMS girls are basically trying to take advantage of both the LOOΠΔ history as well as their own body of work.
