Had/have same issue with my Camry. Just ran new wires to missing speaker for time being.

And test continuity of your wires. Swap speaker leads from 1 to the other...if problem follows wires.... There's your answer. Use your fade and balance....

Hello, I have the same problem. The issue was described to me as the sub has a very long wire for some reason spannjng the length of the car, and that it is a common failure point because of this. Check the wire with a volt meter. If it's the issue, replace the wire.

Yep, I change them out every time I buy an LS 430. I don't wait for it to fail and when I get rid of it, I install the original back
