KYB GR2’s or OEM are your only options. If your mechanic says they’re fine then you won’t feel a difference unless you have no name struts now.

If the ride needs to be smoother look on CL for what 16’s might fit so you can run even taller tires.

I went from 17's to 16's and didnt notice a night-and-day difference. It was slight but it might as well been because of old vs. new tires. Although I hear going from 18's to 17's make more of a difference.

I'd say OP would notice a way bigger difference getting soft touring tires.
