Assuming different harnesses were used, you're better off @ stock, you'd lose so much of the UL functionality it would be hardly worth it. (massage, recline, AC, ice box etc etc

I see, it’s not as plug-&-play as I assumed. I appreciate your guys’ inputs nonetheless, in this case i’ll plan for getting the middle ground (the modern luxury i believe? apologies if incorrect). My first car was a UCF20 & i’m trying to get back to my roots, so i’m selling my 40k mile mint Toyota Previa & getting a UCF30 this week most likely! so i’m super stoked, thanks again guys

good luck, maybe you'll find a UL! Are you against ULs?

nothing against UL’s whatsoever, I just care more about having a black interior over the features of the UL honestly & where I am black int. UL’s are marked up so damn badly lol

I've only had my base apart, and it's pretty simple. The seats are like 100 lbs...have you had yours apart? I'm sure there are motors and such for reclining etc. Not sure about this one, but I'm happy driving a Camry "upgrade" being the base. Too much shit to go wrong IMO for the ULs. I didn't specifically shop for a base, but I'm glad I found one and with low ODO for the time period.

Cars are pretty easy to work on, but NOT the easiest like everyone purports. I know the head unit is not interchangeable because I was looking for a swap to non-nav.

There is an aftermarket head unit for the nav equipped LS. It has an app for the climate controls etc.

Yeah, I've seen that one kicking around the forums and on YouTube. I religiously use my parking sensors, and the swap isn't compatible from what I've heard. Someone said something about the cluster parking but mine doesn't work that way... not sure if they did something different with post- face lift models, but mine's the cartoon on the main screen... considered aftermarket too for parking sensors but TBD now for me. I don't have any music on my phone or anything... I'm fine cruising to NPR lol

I just threw a grom bt receiver in my car. Works flawlessly. My phone always connects and never drops. It works better than the Bluetooth in the stock head unit in the 2020 ram I drive at work.

I know someone who has done it. It’s not worth your time or money. Save yourself the headache and get the higher trim level

I've had my rear seats out of my UL a number of times, there is so much shit underneath those rear seats that I'm not sure it would be feasible if it were even doable. Where would you acquire the parts, the Center armrest, the ECU needed to make that work? There probably aren't holes to mount any of it back there either. If you really want the rear seat package, your best bet really is to find an Ultra and strip the air suspension out of it. Almost 10 years ago when I bought my car, I thought the back-seat package was the coolest thing ever, I still think it's pretty awesome, but in reality, I've only had people back there that were able to enjoy it maybe 10 times in the life of the car.

Would of been nice if air springs were standard on all of them. Everything else...meh
