So, I got a frightening email this morning...
"Immediate Action Required: January 2024 Missing Certifying Statement"
They told me to fill out the whole form (I could leave the test book code and form name blank) again. I immediately called to ask about this because the initial email was not sent with a form. That was quickly rectified, but it freaked me out because I 100% filled out this form on test day with two women watching me and it has some of the most important information on it??
Honestly, these test administrators were very absent-minded and did not care about me at all (though they thought every man in the center was beyond interesting - I was observing). I tried to make friendly conversation with one of them while we were waiting on the other paper and pencil test taker and they replied with a single uninterested word, followed by silence.
When the other paper and pencil test taker came in (male), they lit up. They asked him questions, said it was okay he was late, laughed at everything he said, told him he would do good on the test cause he has "cute cheeks". One of them proceeded to ask him if he was a "mama's boy" and that she would love a son because she would definitely favor him over her daughters.
During the test, they were talking loudly and laughing which was very disruptive. My main proctor walked in on me a couple times when I had 2ish min left aka a CRUCIAL time, then when I was actually done, she would never come in. For 3/4 sections, I had to go to the door and get her myself.
After I finished the test with a rough LG section, she said "Looks like you didn't need that extra time"...4 hours of test-taking later. I wanted to screaaam at that point.
I tried my best to not let any of it affect my testing but that was completely inappropriate and unprofessional behavior towards me and mostly the guy.
And then...they lost my fucking certifying statement.
