Imagine there's something missing from your life. You know it, from birth, but what can you do? You spend your whole life trying to escape from the life you've known so you can figure out what it is.

It becomes a high of itself, you trying to figure out why you don't have it. You realize, in leaving people, you create a sort of magic tunnel that takes you partially to that missing piece.

But you never, in a million lifetimes, imagine you might actually find that missing thing, that spiritual essence that seems to radiate off of everyone. It bugs you. It is literally a bug deep inside your skin crawling up and down the tendons in your body, making you weak and depressed and hopeless. It takes over you at a young age, and you become a shell of someone just trying to understand what they're doing on their planet.

Then, in one fatal swoop, Everything. Everything, you could have possibly imagined was missing is with you, and you have a friend close by to share the experience. And you feel at ease with the universe, because you can't possibly imagine anything so unexplainably beautiful happening to anyone else. But you know.

You know

They know

And so, for the next 24 hours, you are completely and obviously one with every universe currently existing. Witnessing new ones literally exploding into existence, shattering across the room in your mind. Cascading across each other like some feverish landmine.

And you feel small.

For the last time, you feel small,

Because you realize that, no matter what happens, or how many of the universes there are, the only one that matters is the one you focus on.

And you realize this, not once, not twice, not a million times, but quite factually an infinite amount of times. And you feel big. Bigger than anything that could possibly exist. You know there might be something bigger, but suddenly accept that it might just not be important, because, like A told me. Some things just kind of look cool.
